What to Expect After Your Shoot
We’ve taken your photos and I sent you the magical email with your gallery in it. But now what? Here are some ideas for ways to show the world your incredible photos:
Social media: the quickest way to share your session with the world is through social media. I might suggest sharing them one at a time, instead of all at once. You waited several weeks to get your photos back, so why not build the anticipation for your friends and family too? All I ask is that you give me credit for the work. If you want to tag my pages, even better! (IG: @mariahfarmerphoto; FB: Mariah Farmer Photography)
Prints: even though we’re living in the digital age, print will never be gone. I remember flipping through photo albums as a kid and absolutely loving getting a glimpse back in time. Make sure you print at least a few of your photos out and keep them somewhere to look back on.
4x6 prints: it’s easy to grab a little photo album and fill it up with 4x6 prints. If you get one that can display a photo on the cover, it becomes an interesting decoration for any room. And how fun would it be to have your guests flip through your photo session?
Canvas prints: there’s nothing more beautiful than your favorite people and/or animals on a canvas at home every time. This is one of my favorite ways to get my photos printed and they are really timeless.
Cards: have you ever wanted to see yourself on a greeting card? Well, now’s your chance! And don’t stop there, you can use your photos to send holiday cards as well. If you’re graduating or just got married, you can use your photos to create a unique thank you card too. Spread the love far and wide!
Gifts: know who would love a framed photo of you and your best pal? Your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends. Your photos can make a great gift for just about anyone in your life.

Spread the word: if you loved your session and how your photos turned out, tell your friends! The best form of flattery is telling people you know about your good experience was with me. And if you didn’t like your session, let me know so I can do my best to make it better.
