Take Your Business to the Next Level
Picture this (haha punny): you’re cruising online, looking for your next boarding facility, equine veterinarian, favorite boutique, etc. And you’re hit with a pixelated photo on the very first page. If you’re like me, you’re clicking on the next name on the list almost immediately. Even if love is blind, business certainly isn’t. A bad photo sets the tone for the quality of your business. You could be the best in the world at what you do, but if you don’t present yourself that way then people will have a hard time believing that. Here are my top five reasons of how I can take your business to the next level with one photo shoot:
iPhone photos simply don’t cut it.
iPhone photos are great and all, but they still aren’t good enough. Yes, phones can take some very high-resolution, breathtaking photos. But when you put them next to a professional photo, they literally pale in comparison. It’s just a fact of life. And I’ll stand by that until my last breath.
Good vs bad photos.
You know your business inside and out, there’s no question. And the same is true for me as a photographer. I know what’s going to look good on the other side of the camera. I’ve literally seen it all, the good, bad and the very ugly. That’s all because I have taken photos in all those categories. The last thing I want to do is take a bad photo of anyone, so part of my job is researching what looks good and what doesn’t. I come overly prepared to every shoot to make sure I get incredible shots, no matter the subject or purpose of the photos.
Tell your story.
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, don’t you want those words to be positive? I would think so. We can tailor your shoot to tell your unique story. That’s one of my favorite parts of being an equine photographer. I’m a story teller, in the not-so-traditional sense.
Branding is everything.
Taking professional photos is a huge part of branding. Think of the business with all the matching headshots of their staff. Classy, right? It says a lot about how much you care about your business and people want to buy from people who care. It’s a sign of the times but it’s also always been part of the buying and selling transaction. Make sure your business portrays the care you put into it to everyone who stumbles across your website and social media pages.
It’s fun.
Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how much fun a photo shoot can be. It’s even better when you’re doing it with people that you spend a ton of time with every day. And then when you get the photos back, you get to use them all over the place. It’s just a fun experience overall, for me too!
It’s an investment in your business.
Just like you invest in office equipment or employee training, investing in the look and feel of your business is just as important. You’ll never regret investing your business, I can almost guarantee that.
