Here's What to Expect
So you’re wanting to book a photoshoot OR maybe you have just booked your session and you're wondering what’s next. Well let me give you a little glimpse of what you can expect.
Booking process //
Booking is as simple as picking a date, talking ideas, and completing my booking from. And voilà, you are booked! My booking form will guide you to choose a package that suits you, you’ll answer a quick questionnaire, sign my photography contract and pay any applicable deposit. Easy as that!
What’s Next //
Once you are officially booked, I’ll send you a welcome guide with all the info you may need to prepare for your session. There are guides on what to wear, how to prep your horse, and much more. I encourage my clients to save my number so they can reach out with questions or discuss anymore ideas for their session. Often clients will text me outfit ideas!
Session Day //
The day of your session after I have met everyone I’ll have a quick look around to find some pretty places to shoot. I almost always bring an assistant to help with ears and to have extra hands to make things go smoothly. I will direct you through poses and we’ll have a ball. I like to take little breaks to make sure you are relaxed but also so I can pet your horse…
Post Session //
I will start editing your pictures and put the finishing touches on your gallery. Usually I will upload your preview gallery with light edits. Once you have picked the digitals included in your package, I’ll go to town editing them to the nines before emailing them to you. Turnaround is about 5 weeks. During this time I will stay in touch and encourage you to start thinking about how you want to use your print credit. Every session package includes print credit because I think it is so important to have more than just digitals. You need something physical too to cherish!
Happily Ever After //
Now that you are in the MFP family, you’ll be first on the list for future promotions and events. I take my clients and turn them into close friends. So now your horse will always have an aunt there to cheer him on through every show or goal he achieves for the rest of his life.
