Alissa and Anita
Is it even remotely possible to forget your first horse? I seriously doubt it. I enjoy every single shoot I do, but there’s something extra special about taking photos of kids with horses. Their joy is so pure and easy to capture because they wear their hearts on their sleeves. If you have kids and horses, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I took photos of a whole slew of kids and horses recently at Triple P Farms, but here is Alissa and Anita as a teaser. These two were just too sweet and I think that’s pretty clear here. It made me think about what I remember of horses I had as a kid. And it would’ve been really neat to have photos like this with them that I could be looking back on now. Of course, photoshoots weren’t nearly as popular when I was a kid as they are now.
All that to say, it’s never too early to get some photos of your horses and kids taken. And you can never take them too often because of how quickly those kids tend to grow up. What’s better than a timeline of your kid’s life with their favorite horses? Not much I would venture to guess.
I would also guess that any horse-crazy kid would be excited about unwrapping a Christmas present that tells them they’re going to have a photoshoot with their horse. As crazy as it might seem, Christmas is approaching quickly and if you’re still trying to find the right gift for the equine enthusiast in your life, a photoshoot is a great place to start.
