Carson's Senior Session

Some of my clients give me free rein to do what I want and then others know exactly what they want out of their shoot. Carson was beyond prepared for me. She not only had her outfits picked out, she had already scouted locations and had a plan all lined out for us. I loved it!

As you can see, it was a real group effort. Both of these Quarter Horse mares were sweet as can be and evidently they were models in a former life because they were camera ready almost constantly. My husband didn’t have to work all that hard to get their attention. Those ears were almost always perked up.

Since this was a graduation shoot for Carson, we tried to incorporate all of her favorite things. Obviously she’s an animal lover, but it goes even deeper than that. Carson grew up with 16-year-old Jetta (black), 12-year-old Veva (chestnut) and her dog friends. These animals mean quite a bit to Carson and I was honored that she chose me to capture their relationship.

As a high school senior, Carson loves history. She’s a self-proclaimed nerd who loves to read. Other than reading and spending time with her horses, Carson is a rodeo queen. I’m told that job requires an extensive knowledge of rodeo history. Sounds like the perfect fit for Carson!
