Learn More About Me

When booking a photographer, yes it is important to know you like their work and connect with their style but I think it’s just as important to connect with the artist too! Just in case you have not been snooping on my “About Me” page, I want to share a little bit about myself, who I am, and why I do this.

Chapter One //

I’ve always been a horse girl. When I was adopted I came with a jean jumper and a toy horse. When I wasn’t riding horses or drawing them, I would pretend my hand was a horse. You read that right…

Growing up in Honduras the horse industry there is well, different. I had 5 childhood horses but Ajeeb was my best friend. He was a buckskin gelding with lots of go. I rehomed him and got myself a ticket to the US where I started college and culture shock. While at the UofA I found myself lost in life and taking classes in animal science. Next thing I know I am working as an intern at the UofA barn and a TA for the horse program there.

Fast forward I was taking pictures of the university horses for a class project and thought hmmm….I want to make this my job.

Here is the Why //

I truly know how special and unique the bond is between a horse and their rider. I strive to capture that in my work and give my clients memories that show that bond with their once-in-a-lifetime horse. I have one 5x7 picture of my childhood horse, Ajeeb. For playing such an incredibly huge role in my life I have very little to remember him by. This is why I make it my mission to capture these precious moments with your equine companion.
